Kate Beere is a set and costume designer working in theatre, film, and live events. Her work is defined by a strong sense of composition, where form, framing, and colour are used with intention to create immersive, emotionally resonant environments.
Kate’s recent credits for set design include Eureka Day (Reginald Theatre, 2025), The Player Kings (York Theatre, 2025), The Inheritance and Arlington (Reginald Theatre, 2024), and The Lonesome West and Sparkly Darkling (Old Fitz Theatre, 2024).
Her work has been recognised with several industry nominations, including a Sydney Theatre Award for Best Independent Costume Design for Significant Other (New) (2021), and nominations for Best Independent Set Design for The Inheritance and Arlington—the latter earning her the award in 2024.
