Kate Beere is a set and costume designer working across theatre, film and events. Kate is skilled in developing imaginative and atmospheric spaces. Kate holds a Masters of Fine Arts (Design for Performance) and a BFA (Design for Performance) from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA).

Kate has designed for many venues including; the Hayes Theatre, The Old Fitz, KXT, Flight Path Theatre, La Mama, The New Theatre, The Old 505. 

Some of her past set designs include All My Sons (New Theatre, 2023), Breathing Corpses, Daddy Developed a Pill and Tom at the Farm (KXT, 2022), The Great Australian Play (Old Fitz, 2022), Halftime the Musical (Hayes Theatre, 2021). 

Kate has been nominated for a Sydney Theatre Award for Best independent Costume design for Significant Other (New Theatre, 2021).
